The Glitterball!
The Glitterball!
Saturday 4th of February. Put the date in your diary because it’s the night of the Glitterball, the biggest night on the Warwick Pride Calendar.
This year’s Glitterball will be at The Holiday Inn in Kenilworth, a three course sit down dinner with entertainments including a DJ, Dancefloor, Jazz Band, demos and ‘lessons’ from Warwick Salsa. The theme this year is Mardi Gras, so dress to impress with masks if you want to follow tradition and decorations in the traditional green, purple and gold.
Tickets are only £27.50 and available from here!
n.b. there are limited tickets and they’re selling like hotcakes, so buy yours now to avoid disappointment!
Other important mentions this term:
National Student Pride (Tour) Week 7 – Sign ups will start week 2, more details will follow in next week’s email.
The AGM (Annual General Meeting) Week 8 – All Exec positions other than International and PG&M Reps will become availiable for Society members to run for, also motions for policy and more can be passed. If you’re interested in Democracy, The Society, its future or running it then you should attend! More information will be given nearer the time!
Other, less specific things that are going to be happening this term are some fantastic campaigns which are being planned by Jack & Rosa et al, Some great events and trips afar that our Ents officers, George and Amy have up their sleeves and finally, February is LGBT History Month and there will be some wonderful events happening to celebrate that.

| George will be collecting people from theArts Centre Bus stop and leaving at 8pm, don’t be late!From there we’ll be heading by bus and train into Birmingham for a night out to celebrate being back and student loans going in!It’s going to be an amazing night so don’t miss out! | |||
